A Modern Treatment in Regenerative Dermatology
Hair PRF
Hair PRF
Platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) is a non-surgical autologous treatment for improving scalp hair density and rejuvenating the face and neck. A small blood sample is collected in a special tube without anticoagulant and then centrifuged. The resulting fibrin-rich material, containing platelets, white blood cells, stem cells and growth factors, is isolated. PRF for hair strengthens and supports the hair follicles, helping improve hair quality and resilience.
PRF
- Activates resting follicles that have entered the telogen phase
- Enhances microcirculation, increasing the supply of oxygen and micronutrients to the hair follicle
- Provides sustained release of growth factors, stimulating follicles over a longer period
- Acts as a slow release system, gradually releasing cells
PRF provides targeted treatment for skin rejuvenation and the signs of ageing in the areas injected. It stimulates collagen production, which declines with age, contributing to dull and tired-looking skin. It significantly reduces wrinkles and improves fine lines. It promotes natural tissue regeneration and healing, smoothing blemishes and acne scars.
It offers significant help in addressing dark circles and laxity under the eyes. The under-eye area is particularly delicate and prone to early signs of ageing, as the fat compartments that provide support begin losing volume from as early as age 20. The skin is thinner and more sensitive, allowing the first wrinkles and dark circles to appear. The procedure is well tolerated, brief and safe, with no downtime. The treatment schedule is individualised according to clinical assessment. Results are expected to become visible after the first 2 to 3 months. Maintenance treatments are needed after completion of the initial course.

Popular questions about Hair PRF
What is PRF treatment and how does it work?
PRF (Platelet-Rich Fibrin) is a non-surgical treatment that uses the patient’s own blood to support hair growth and skin rejuvenation. A small blood sample is collected and centrifuged to isolate fibrin-rich material containing platelets and growth factors. This material is then injected into targeted areas to support natural tissue regeneration.
What are the benefits of PRF for hair and skin?
PRF helps strengthen hair follicles, improve hair quality and support scalp microcirculation through the gradual release of growth factors. For the face and neck, it stimulates collagen production, helping improve skin texture, reduce fine lines and wrinkles, and address concerns such as acne scars, dark circles and under-eye skin laxity.
Is PRF treatment painful, and when can I expect results?
PRF is a brief, generally well-tolerated procedure with minimal downtime. Visible improvements may begin to appear within 2 to 3 months, depending on the treatment area and individual response. The treatment plan is personalised following clinical assessment, and maintenance sessions are recommended to help sustain the results.
